Frozen poetry is an art and technology work that allows the public to interact with the piece. The work, this way, is not defined by a central author and becomes a tool for the creation of countless meanings by the public. Chance, a central aspect of Frozen Poetry, is a research theme in the arts since the beginning of the 20th century. In this experiment, chance is an essencial part of the meaning construction process of the piece, through interaction. In this process, the observer is no longer passive, and becomes also an active author of the piece, participating in the poetic process.
